Kentucky Church of God of Prophecy. One connected home for 51 churches.
Kingswell designed and built kycogop.net, the statewide digital home of the Kentucky Church of God of Prophecy: a single place where members, visitors and leaders find a congregation, register for gatherings, follow statewide news and reach every ministry across the Commonwealth.
The client
A statewide family of churches.
The Kentucky Church of God of Prophecy is one region of the worldwide Church of God of Prophecy, a family of congregations that traces its history to 1886. In Kentucky it brings together 51 local churches, statewide ministries for every age, camp meetings, rallies and an annual State Convention.
KYCOGOP is an independent organization and client. It is not a Kingswell venture or part of the Boston Made network.
The challenge
Many churches, one front door.
Information lived in too many places. Visitors needed a simple way to find a church near them, families needed one trustworthy calendar, and leaders needed a way to publish news and open registration without a developer. The site also had to feel warm and welcoming, honour the church’s identity, and stay connected to the international church.

A month-by-month calendar of every gathering that visitors can subscribe to, plus a “next gathering” spotlight on the home page.

Dedicated homes for Children’s, Youth, Women’s & Men’s, Missions & Discipleship and Camping ministries.

Design
Welcoming, unmistakably Kentucky.
A deep night-sky palette, bold editorial type and original Kentucky-inspired artwork give the site warmth and a sense of place, from still waters to race-day energy. A rotating scripture of the day, an events ticker and quick search keep the home page alive every visit.
Under the hood
Built on Keystone.
kycogop.net runs on a custom WordPress theme built on Kingswell’s Keystone stack, so the church’s own team can add events, news and churches without touching code.
